I personally feel that one of the best ways to enjoy life is to travel! You get to see the world, explore different places, experience different cultures, and meet so many people…it is absolutely great, and has got to be one of the most awesome feelings ever!
After all, the world is like a book and those who don’t travel will only ever know one page.
Travelling around the world is one of the most awesome experiences one can have, at any stage in your life…we learn a lot and we experience so much from it. Over the years I’ve had some not so glorious experiences with certain airlines and whatnot, but I can not look back and say there has ever been a trip that I’ve not enjoyed.
There are a lot of exciting places you can travel to in Asia and it can be confusing and sometimes frustrating to choose the best place to visit, whether you’re on your own or with family.
So, to make things easy for you, I have listed 5 Asian destinations that I think should be on your travel list:
1. Check Out The Cherry Blossoms Khun Chang Kian In Thailand
Khun Chang Kian is the place where Cherry Blossom/Sakura Flowers can be seen in Thailand during the winter months. Hundreds of cherry trees were planted there to attract tourists to visit during the season. It is exciting, looks magical and a lot of people love it there. But make sure you have your camera with you because the flowers don’t stay in bloom for long.
2. If You Love Wildlife, You’ll Love Hanging Out With Orangutans In The Malaysian Borneo
We all love wildlife. Once or twice a year we would love to see these beautiful creatures that we often see on the telly, face to face. Did you know that the orangutans are three extant species of great apes?
It’s absolutely magnificent seeing these beautiful creatures play and swing in the treetops. You’ll definitely love to hang out with Orangutans in Malaysian Borneo. These creatures have the ability to learn sign language, make tools and because of that, they are one of the world’s smartest primates.
During the rainy season, the Orangutans begin to craft umbrellas from leaves. Awesome right?
3. The Sunrise Is Simply Amazing Over The Borobudur Temple In Indonesia
Located not far from the town Muntilan, in Central Java. The Borobudur Temple was touted the most visited site in Indonesia, by both locals and foreign tourists. Seeing the sunrise in The Borobudur Temple is one of the most incredible travel experiences one can have, it’s breath-taking no matter what the season, winter or summer. The Temple is said to be the world’s largest Buddhist temple and is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the world.
4. You’ll Love The Marina Bay Sands In Singapore
Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort in Singapore, a MUST SEE in Asia. The Marina Bay is known as the most iconic hotel with the world’s largest rooftop Infinity Pool.
It features three 55-storey cascading hotel towers, connected by a 1-hectare roof terrace, topped by an amazing extraordinary sky park, floating crystal pavilions, a lotus inspired museum, retail stores featuring cutting-edge labels and international luxury brands. It also boasts trendy celebrity chef restaurants, endless entertainment at treaters, the most exciting nightclubs, and a Las Vegas-style casino.
The observation deck, which is located on the 57th Floor, offers a panoramic city view and 2 restaurants. It is open daily from 10:30am to 10pm.
5. Visit The Red And White Sand Dunes Of Mui Ne In Vietnam
Now…to complete your exciting travel list you can visit the Red and White Sand Dunes of Mui Ne in Vietnam. It is the number one place to go for a taste of the dessert and for exquisite landscape photography.
When you think of sand dunes, does the Sahara come to mind? Definitely does for me! Vietnam can give you a little taste of the desert. Mui Ne is a little fishing village along the South Coast of Vietnam, where you’ll find there are actually sand dunes scattered everywhere throughout the region. But, the two most impressive are the giant Red and White Sand Dunes.
If you do a tour, The Red Sand Dunes will usually include a stop at Fairy Springs. This is a beautiful ankle-deep stream that is by Grand Canyon-esque landscape either side of it.
The White Sand Dunes are not as accessible as the Red, and will take around 40 mins to drive there from the centre of Mui Ne.
Book a flight to Vietnam and experience the sandy paradise in the resort town of Mui Ne that spans 15 kilometres along Vietnam’s southern coast.
If you are ready to travel, start planning your trip now, so that when restrictions lift you can get on that plane and go visit all these amazing places!
