flydubai shows off their new Boeing 737 MAX 8 at its fifth airshow. This aircraft, bearing the UAE registration mark A6-MAX, is an upgrade of the first 76 seaters, single-aisle Boeing of the order placed in 2013, all planes should be completed by 2023. This will allow flydubai to live up to their target to remove barriers to enhance connectivity and travel between different cultures across the multi-expanding network.
The 737 MAX is built on the base of the 737 designs with the more fine-tuned CFM International LEAP-1B powerplants, split-tip winglets, a more extended fuselage, lighter empty weight, higher maximum takeoff weight, improved aerodynamics and modifications on the airframe.
By the last quarter of this year, 6 of these ordered planes will join Dubai’s aircraft fleet. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of flydubai, was ecstatic that they made history by placing the most significant order of this type of aircraft in the Middle East, before the first commercial flight of this particular aircraft.
The enhanced performance and efficiency that this aircraft enables will play a critical role in flydubai’s new growth procedure. The new Boeing 737 MAX 8’s deployment will take place at the furthermost point of the bearers network.
Destinations that will benefit from this new aircraft include Prague, Bangkok, Zanzibar, and Yekaterinburg, and the additional planes added to the fleet will benefit more routes of the carrier’s network.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive of flydubai, advised that they are gearing up for placing the final touches on the aircraft, which improves the overall fleet performance while delivering efficiency and flexibility to passengers.
Flydubai has added six destinations to their flight list network, allowing them to fly 1700 flights per week to 95 destinations. This is made possible by their 2500 uniformed staff.

Seeing the flyduai MAX at Dubai’s Airshow is an excellent commendation to the partnership between MAX airplane and flydubai.
