Everyone hears about the travel markets and that they are getting bigger and bigger, but we don’t hear why and how people travel, why it is a good thing, and what needs to be done to be able to travel. There is always that first flight, that first cruise, and it all adds up, and will eventually become part of statistics. Travelling is not about being part of statistics. Travelling is about making memories that photographs just can not do justice.
For companies, everything is fast-paced, and minds are only focused on getting the job done even though they have to become jet-setters to be able to see their bank accounts and companies grow.
Travelling is very exciting but can be very disastrous if you do not have all your ducks in a row!
Reasons For Travelling:
Travel markets are booming into the heights is a headline you will read almost every day, but when you think about what makes it so amazing, you’ll soon realise the number of factors there are that contribute to what you think is just a flight to your destination.
1. Jet-setters:
There are so many big shot companies having meetings all over the world that requires certain CEO’s or staff members to attend. Their lives are such a rush, and they will do anything to make their bank account skyrocket and get things done. For that to happen, they need staff who are on their toes, booking the right flights and accommodation and just making it happen.
2. There is always something happening:
We live in a time where sometimes less is not more. Couples wanting to elope; a family member has passed away, and you need to attend the funeral in another state. Your childhood friend is turning 21, and you just have to attend or, flying across the world to fight for the one that got away.
3. Studies:
This is probably the most precious way to go about studying. Learning a new culture, new way of doing things and when you return to your home country you return with a broader way of thinking. It has been proven that immersing yourself in a different culture, is the best and easiest way to learn said ways. Some people may ever consider studying overseas, a “higher” way of studying, as they feel their country’s qualification is just not enough.
4. Just because:
This is the category for the people that have too much money and do not know how to spend it, so they book luxury family holidays, boys/ladies trips, me time, and a break-away. On these trips, only the best of the best will do.
Holiday goers and tourists are one of the biggest reasons why the travel markets are shooting into new heights. Let’s break it down:
The Travel Bug:
Human nature is very strange but amazing at the same time. As some of us travel around the world, others prefer staying at home or just driving for an hour to the nearest wine farm because the thought of getting on a plane is just too daunting. This is of course, until you get that one friend or family member that gives you the nudge in the right direction.
Taking that first flight into the unknown might be the best decision you ever make. It definitely was for me! It opens doors to new opportunities to challenge yourself and learn something new that was once a very daunting thought. You get a chance to appreciate life, and get more in touch with yourself, and the world around you.
By stepping out of your comfort zone and taking that leap, you just might meet the love of your life and have the biggest adventure of your lifetime that a pic will not do justice. Once you soak that up, the travel bug will bite you, and you will want to do it more and more.
Two Sides Of A Holiday Overseas:
When you think of a holiday overseas, you might think of something entirely different from the person next to you.
• Beach bums: In some cases, people think of relaxing on the beach with a cocktail in hand, sleeping late and catching up on some well-deserved rest.
• Adventurists: Then you get the other category that can’t sit still. These movers and shakers need to be doing something the whole day, or they will feel they did not enjoy their holiday to the fullest. They will wake up as early as possible, go surfing, hike or anything in nature just to soak up the surroundings and fresh air that they can’t-do when they are stuck in the office.
Travel agents:
There is always admin involved when it comes to travelling and in most cases, you definitely need a travel agent to make sure everything is sorted out and that you have everything you need. A lot of tourists will think that travel agents are a waste of money until they end up in a filthy cockroach-infested motel.
